Those who have lost weight....how long did it take you to loose weight from thighs? I have huge thighs ..and they seem to be stubborn when it comes to shedding weight? Will I ever be able to shrink them? :(

Do you measure them? I still have , well, enormous thighs despite a 65+lb weight loss. However, they've dropped 4" each in diameter. So while I'd look at myself and say "ugh. Still have big thighs" I have a reliable metric that they really are getting smaller!

No one will be able to tell you because it will not be the same. Some people may lose from legs first, then face, then stomach. Others may notice a difference the other way around. It's based on where your body wants to lose weight, and the bad news is that you can't trouble spot areas. Just keep eating in a deficit and they will eventually shrink. They'll just probably be the last to go based on your description of them being stubborn.

Definitely take measurements of them once a month so you can see how they're shrinking. Totally agree with previous posters, you can't spot reduce and just keep tracking calories and working out.

For everyone it will be different, my thighs weren't overly chunky to begin with and now they are slim and muscly. For me it took me around 6 months to really notice the difference and that was with me walking every day and doing interval training several times a week.

I hold all my weight in my thighs unfortunately and it doesn't come off over night. That said though I am 180lbs now, and at 200lbs I became obsessed and loved my thighs because even though I was heavy I focused all my routines around my thighs and man did it help. I started doing daily squats with 10lbs weights, leg press, leg extensions, dead lifts and the leg abductor machines at the gym. On the treadmill I would walk for 30 to 60 min on an incline of 10. While eating healthy mind you. I shed at least 10" from my thighs in a few short months. The weight didnt just come off my thighs I lost all over, but focusing on heavy lifting with my legs and cardio sure helped to target and tone that area.
