Thank you . Those are great lifts as well.thanks for sharing.
From your photo, looks like the barbell presses are working out well for you!

<---- I like to do barbell squats most. Second is deadlifts.

Fav muscle group to work is traps. I'm kind of traditional and basic and love the standard dumbbell shrugs.

I can't really say that I have a favorite muscle group but I love romanian deadlifts.

Favorite is back. Rows upon rows upon rows. Giffen shrugs for the rhomboids and lower traps.

I like working lower body in general. Deadlifts are probably my favorite. I could say squats but ther I feel even more empowered and strong with a deadlift because I never get the "oh sh&^ I might die" anxiety like I do with a heavy squat. Which can be fun too.

Giffen shrug? I may have to look into this as I am always looking for different shrug variations.

I love my lower body workout days. Glutes, quads, calves! Yes! Weighted Walking Lunges hits all of those areas and more in one exercise.

As a close second runner's up I've been feeling my back lately and my fav workout to target that area (and my core) are Renegade Rows.

They aren't that well known outside my team. Little bit less forward lean than a kelso, focusing on getting the same tightness in your upper mid back that you have for bench. Its kinda a backwards shoulder roll into position and then relaxing down.

I train for performance so I don't really think about muscle groups. I like the squat the most. I also really enjoy deadlifting but I'm relatively bad at it.

Like SS, I train specifically just to stay more fit now and just retain what muscle I have. I don't particularly have a favorite anymore, but I dislike training arms now.

I also hate training arms now lol
  • Love working my back. Deadlifts are king to me, however, the accessory I've added --- rack pulls with a shrug at the top -- are a new favorite for me. Overload that bar, clank that mofo in the cage and feel badass while doing it.

Thanks for the tip. If I'm following you correctly I'm gonna try it. I've been incorporing face pulls, and reverse shrugs and starting to see some change in size with different variations outside the standard db shrug. Thanks again.

I hate rack pulls with a passion. Probably due to actually being weaker at them than a full rom deadlift. My current training cycle has a pull-up/shrug superset and the full back pump is insane. I might be one of the very few who hates the pump feeling though.

You're welcome. They are fun and very helpful in building the back for a better bench.

I feel strong doing trap bar Deadlifts and American hip thrusts, love adding plates to the bar! But admit there's so many exercises I enjoy doing snatches, cleans, ladder/cone drills, angled barbell (landmine exercises), pull-ups...too difficult to choose just 1.
