It's frustrating some days... I am losing weight.. lots of weight.. I have lost 13 inches in my waist, 11 inches in my hips 9 inches in each thigh and the list goes on and on...
But, the disproportion of my body is disgusting!!
5'4 223 lbs
Chest: 46 (Rib cage is 38.. but not my waist???)
Waist: 43.5
Hips: 45
My waist just wont go away....
Some say do sit-ups.. target the fat,,
Others say that targeting the area will not work.. cardio is what you need and you will EVENTUALLY lose the excess in the trouble area.
Anyone else have this problem??

Unfortunately, you can't spot reduce, your body will use up fat how it will.
Also, you've lost THIRTEEN inches in your waist!!! That's amazeballs.
Keep at it, and if you aren't already strength training, I would recommend it.0 -
Why is that a horrible proportion? You can't help genetics, and even if you deny the truth - you can NOT target areas for fat loss. A calorie deficit will help you lose the fat - strength training will tighten that area up.
I am slowly losing my belly fat, but that is through a calorie deficit alone. I have lost fat everywhere else - my belly is the last place.0 -
You can't spot reduce...it's fact...anyone who tells you differently is full of **** and doesn't know what they're talking about. Belly area is primary fat storage...it's the last to go...patience is a virtue.0

Thanks guys!
It's daunting some times.. not losing the inches where YOU want to lose the inches.
Just going to keep at it =D
It will be gone soon enough!0
