0.2 lbs made all the difference

I started in October at 195. The first 10 pounds dropped pretty quickly. The next 5 were excutiating... I was flip flopping up and down the same 3 pounds for weeks!! The lowest I got to was 180.4 before it would bounce back to 182. I desperately wanted to be out of the 180's.

I have been pretty diligent with my logging and counting and exercising daily. I started adding strength training about 10 days ago and thought that would finally break my stall. Yet...nothing.

Last night I was so discouraged with this stall I was almost going to give up. Then a xmas miracle...

179.8!!!

I know it still rounds up to 180. But there is something mental that tells me I am out of the 180's and that my hard work is paying off. Those 0.2 lbs made such a difference.

The first time I was as high as 180 was when I was 3 months pregnant with the eldest of my 3 children. 10 more pounds lost and I will be my pre-baby fluffy self.

Of course I will keep going to get below 170, but to erase the effects on my body of 3 bed rest pregnancies in 4 years is huge!

Can't wait to see what the tape measure says when I get measured mid Jan.

Keep on keeping on! I'll come back to update mid Jan.

I can totally relate. Started at 190 on Nov 1st... Now hovering at 175/176. Had two plateaus and - as you say - dropping down even .2 of a pound into the next 'bracket' is really great!
    Keep on keeping on!

Well done! Totally understand the psychological effect of that 0.2lb lass :-)

I'm in the 180s. I'm in the UK and we tend to weigh in stones and pounds, so for me it'll be to get to 181.9lbs, as that will be a gnats ar&e under 13 stone - can't wait to be able to say I'm 12st xlbs! I'll be the same when I'm halfway to 11 stone lol.

    It'll happen when you aren't looking. :)

I'm still 179.8 today, so I am hoping and sticks and keeps going downwards.

    You got this!
