So I have been pregnant and due in two and a half months. I am stressing NOW on getting back into the swing of my no carb, low calorie lifestyle I literally through out the window. With each of my pregnancies I allow myself to have my hearts desires and then focus on losing weight AFTER the baby. This time I am officially bummed out as I started out at a fairly high prego start weight 145 lbs...and it has not gone well. I am short so I gain rapidly and ALL OVER, but I refuse to limit what I can eat. I am looking for support to give me new ideas that can put me into the right path for after I give birth. I plan to go full force with cutting carbs cold turkey, do the military diet (which has always worked to jump start for me in the past) and stick to eating fish, chicken, fruits and veggies. My plan is set, I just need encouragement and ideas and if any one is prego mom please feel free to add me or join me in this journey! :)

It's fine to count calories while pregnant but completely cutting out a macro nutrient & the military diet even when you aren't pregnant, should never be done; it's dangerous. In fact 1 woman here, passed out on such a low calorie diet & broke her child's leg because she fell on him. A Dietitian informed me, that at least 130 grams of carbohydrates, is a daily requirement; for brain function.
