It's Boxing Day, go to the nearest drugstore or grocery store and buy and eat a bunch of 50% off holiday chocolate. I did it earlier today and had a blast...good times.

    I second this.

Also I'm assuming you want to gain muscle weight and not fat, so a weight training routine will be beneficial.

Honestly, when I was trying to gain weight (at 5'6" and 126lbs), I ate high calorie foods: pizza, burgers, pasta, etc.
When I went on a cut, I ate lower calorie foods.

Your body doesn't get the signal that you are "full" until 10-15 minutes after you start eating. With that said, you should try to eat as much as possible within a 10 minute period.

It also goes without saying that you should eat at a surplus and track all of your calories/macros or you'll be all over the place in terms of weight fluctuation.
