I just got a nutribullet for Christmas as I need to lose 200+ pounds and thought this would be a good start to eating more veggies and fruit. Do any members have one and has it been a help in your weight lose. Thanks

I make fruit and veggie smoothies to help increase my raw veg intake.
My advice is as you're scanning for and experimenting with recipes, be mindful of calories! Lots of common fruit smoothie recipes--particularly banana and yogurt - based recipes-- have upwards of 250 to 300 calories!
My typical smoothie is 200 grams of raw or frozen green veg (e.g. celery, kale, and/or spinach), 100 grams frozen berries or mango, 1/4 cup of lowfat kefir for texture and live cultures and some water or ice. Sometimes I'll add a dash of stevia for sweetness. Usually about 120 to 160 calories and loads of fiber and veggie nutrients!0 -
I have a sister in law that bought it to lose weight. She adds ice cream to her "health" smoothies.
Be smart and LOG the calories !!!0
