I'm in about 5 fresh feet in the Cascades. I think I'll snowshoe hike a fire road...

I actually enjoy cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and can live on a snowboard or downhill skis but am far from good on either. But the shoveling part... well someone else can do that.

And I don't see any tacos. Are there any good tacos in that area? :p

We had enchiladas! Southern Oregon is not exactly a taco vortex. We brought the ingredients with us...
And I didn't shovel. Maybe tomorrow. I snowshoed yesterday. Today I just walked paths at the Running Y on Klamath Lake while my family ice skated.
Tomorrow I have the chance to xcountry ski or snowshoe. One knee has been hinkie lately, so I need to choose carefully.
    Happy New Year Robert!!

Despite living in (or just really really close to) 5th snowiest major city in the world (typically getting over 10' a year), I'm currently sitting here with ~1" of snow/ice on the ground and no winter activities I can partake in.

EDIT: oh, and all of our snow is going to melt by wednesday...

Oh that's awful! Here in southern Oregon there's been a terrible snow drought the last few years. I didn't even get my skis out once last year. And the year before that we went caving instead of skiing at New Years!
