in need of support!

Hello all,

I need to change my eating habbits as my mom is struggling with her diabetes. I do not want to have this disease as well :/

I am a vet tech and stay on my feet mostly all day, I am also a college student and live alone in an apartment. That being said my go to meal has been pizza which needless to say isn't going to help me shed any weight. I am also a very picky eater but I'm trying to branch out and try new healthier foods.

So any ladies or men out there in a similar situation feel free to add me! It would be awesome to have some people to keep me accountable and share recipes with!

    Congratulations for making the decision to change your habits! I just graduated from nursing school in August and lost 25 lbs. in my last semester. My situation is different in that I live with my hubby so I have help around the house. My suggestion as far as food is to find a few things you really like to eat and make them in big batches once a week. You can then freeze some and keep some out for quick and easy meals. One or two days of planning can make the rest of the week much easier.
