Get a kitchen scale to weigh your food.
Figure out which foods or macros provide you with the greatest satiety for their calorie "cost" (this varies among different people, so what works for someone else won't necessarily work for you).

Use the app as intended, stick to your calorie goal, weigh your food. Bam, job done.

-Cruciferous/ high fiber vegetables are filling and low cal/ high volume.
    - fat is your friend. It's an essential nutrient, and also helps with satiety
    - Carbs don't need to avoided as they are an important nutrient to providing energy for optimal performance and are a muscle sparing macro.
    - Eat slowly and be mindful of your food. You will enjoy it a lot more.
    - Stay hydrated! It will make you feel less hunger and actually fill you up when you incorporate a good amount of water with meals.
    - To resist eating out or boredom, try keeping your mouth busy with sugar free gum.
    - Make sure to hit your essential nutrient minimums (protein and fat), then fill the rest of your calories from carbs

There's some more to it, but there's some tips

I've tried all the diet fads. Low carb only works for a while. Other diets are too hard.
Just use this app and count your calories. The only secret to loosing weight is, you have to burn more calories than you consume. I've lost 50 pounds since August 2015. It has been simply by counting calories as accurately as possible. Good luck, j
