firstly sorry for all my questions just love this community and getting real responses from real people

So I was wondering if it's feasible to bulk ideally looking at about a stone in weight but also at same time work on increasing my speed when running.

I understand to put on weight (ideally muscle) will take a surplus of calories and will I still be able to keep running and become a faster runner or are theses goals contradicting one another

Hope you all had a great Christmas also ❄️

Yes it is possible to gain weight and still improve your run, but you're also right that gaining weight is counter productive to running faster. It comes down to every pound you put on whether it's muscle or fat is one more pound you have to move while running. It's the same reason why you put a backpack on, you're not going to run as fast as you would if you weren't wearing it. But yes, keep working on your run and your run will still improve, just not as fast as it would if you were losing weight.
