Water Resistant Activity Tracker Suggestions

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can vouch for or suggest an activity tracker. I have looked at the reviews and my head is spinning from info overload.
I have several injuries/surgeries related to joint issues (3 crushed vertebra, hip resurfacing surgery, knee surgery) so my main goals are swimming, elliptical, heart rate, calories burned. I would like something that tracks resistance training (weight lifting), but I realize that might be asking too much.
Thanks!

The Garmins are water resistant. You might be looking at something like a vivoactive. Though I'm not sure how you track resistance/weight lifting as it is not a consistent effort, which is typically assumed when tracking activities0

Polar A300 or A360 is water proof, and with H7 sensor, it will also track your heart rate in water.0

Moov Now is water resistant and has a tracker for swimming. It is fairly new, and the app is immature. Unlike other trackers, it does not measure steps, it measures active minutes. I have one. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the caveat that the app needs work to mature (they are developing fairly quickly but not as quickly as many users would like) and if you really want a HRM it does not have one, and integration of 3rd party Bluetooth HRM straps is only there for the running portion of their app on Apple, not on Android.0

To track weightlifting, you'd need something like the Atlas Wearable (https://www.atlaswearables.com/) , the Beast tracker (https://www.thisisbeast.com/en) , or the Push (http://www.trainwithpush.com/) but I'm not sure about the water resistance of those.

I've just upgraded to the Vivoactive and really like it. Chest strap on dry land but tracks swimming without heart rate somehow too (I don't swim so can't tell you how that function is). I have downloaded the GymTimer app to it for my HIIT and Fitness Blender type stuff and the calorie burns are a lot lower than I was getting with my Vivofit so I think it's a lot more accurate. And I nervously showered with it on last night and indeed it is waterproof, phew!0
