Does using "Pam" cooking spray make you sick?

I like to roast and sauté a lot of veggies for dinner usually. I used to use olive oil, which I know is still fairly healthy. But to save some calories I have recently switched to Pam Butter flavored spray. My veggies are yummy, delicious and very low calorie. However, since I have switched, I have had the most persistent and intense headache ever. Is this just a coincidence or is it related to my changes in diet. I am going on day three now and it is almost hard to function. I have been alternating Tylenol and Advil every few hours, but it barely takes the edge off. Anyone else know of anything in my diet that could cause such severe headaches that last for days?

Have you tried not using the spray for a few days to see if the headache goes away? That's just about the only way you'll know if it's the cause or not.

    Good luck.

Have you recently gone off caffeine? Caffeine withdrawal is BRUTAL. Not sure what could be in Pam to cause any issues, but that healthy fat in olive oil is worth the calories anyway.

I am going to switch back to olive oil starting today to see if anything changes.

As for caffeine, there have been no major fluctuations. I still have my morning cup of coffee and an occasional tea or diet coke a couple times a week,

I am going to give it a few more days and if it doesn't let up, go see my doctor. My fiancé thinks it is just a bad migraine, but I don't think so.

    Thanks MFPers!
