Different/Fun ideas to keep you motivated

What are some things you do that may be out of the box to keep you motivated?

I have downloaded an app that reminds me to stand up every 20 minutes. I use it while I am at work since I can easily start a project and sit for two hours straight.

I also created private appointments on my Outlook calendar that are an all day appointment and have fitness motivational quotes as well as some that have the pool opening day countdown. It is a great reminder for me of what I am working towards.

    Those are GREAT ideas! I like those. I too remind myself to get up regularly. I also keep close attention to my posture. Sitting at a desk can wreak havoc on your back and neck if everything isn't properly aligned, which then affects my workouts, so I'm mindful of that.

    Interested to see what others do. I'm not very creative so I like to see what other people come up with as well.

    The reminder to sit up straight is a GREAT one. I ride horses and am supposed to sit up straight while riding so I try to remind myself do it while sitting too.
