How to portion out my calories during the day?

I always see guidelines on how many calories to eat per day, but I rarely see recommendations for how to divide it among my meals. What do your meals and snacks look like, by calorie levels?

Today I think I have been doing okay:

goal: 1590
exercise: 448 calories burned
breakfast: 380 calories
lunch: 580 calories (is this high?)
snacks: 320 calories

This leaves me with 758 calories for dinner.
