Had any lemon cake with buttercream fristing or cream cheese frosting?

I love lemon cake, but when I make it, I use a glaze of lemon juice and powdered sugar. You pour the glaze on the cake (poking the cake with a fork to let it have more access to the cake) then let the cake sit for a day or two while the glaze soaks in to the entire cake and makes it juicy and amazing. It's the most moist and flavorful cake, like a cake marinade.
