To lose the extra 10 pounds that snuck up on me once I got into maintenance.
To get back to the gym after a shoulder injury.
To maintain a positive mental attitude for the next couple of months (work related).

My goal is just to sign on to MFP and make an effort each and every day to get healthier. There are going to be days (like today for instance) where getting healthier means eating over goal and/or not exercising. Hard to know how many days like that I will have. So no specific weight loss or fitness goal. Just gentle but sustained effort. Oh, and I want to read the news more often.

I am going to do intermittent fasting (16:8) to help me reach my goal of losing twenty pounds. I am also going to figure out a way to work more stretching and yoga into my life. I am turning forty this year, and I would like to be lean and calm!

Reach my goal weight (I'm less than 10lbs away) and run my first half marathon.

Fitness goals for 2016 are to log 150 miles of lap swimming and 700 miles of walking. Both are attainable if I stick with my program. I managed 120 swimming miles in 2015.

I lost 160 pounds last year, going from 340 to 180, but gained up to 185 currently. My goal is to get down to 170, evaluate, and maybe go down to 165. I hope I will be happy at 170 as the lowest I've ever seen was 179. I lost from 185 to 180 and lost 6.5 inches, so I figure 180 to 170, or 165 will be a big enough change that I will FINALLY be happy enough with my body that I can do maintenance.

    Run a full mile.
Lose at least 30 lbs this year. I have about 60 to 70 total to lose.
Stick with this. I always start and give up after a couple weeks! This is the year that I stay faithful to keeping my calories down and continue to exercise.

I re-set my ticker with my current weight so I can start from there. I lost 26 pounds in the last 26 weeks!

This seems like a great idea!

Can you track activity over time on MFP?

To keep me motivated, for every pound I lose each week I will put that amount, in cash, in a jar, then at the beginning of next year I hope to have enough saved to have a relaxing spa day :-)

I want to be 135-140 within the year, practice yoga regularly, and finally get to work in my field. I'm a licensed therapist but am unable to practice right now due to an impending move. I'm looking forward to working with kids and teens again.
