New NSV, going fishing and kayaking

Two years ago I had to have a 2x-8x adjustable life vest I ordered from Cabelas. I figured I had probably shrunk enough to get a smaller one, when I came across one that my daughter used. I looked - it read ADULT 30-52. Hmmm. I loosened the straps from where she had them to the max, and tried it on. Lo and behold, room to spare! about 3-4 inches on the straps without being too loose or too snug. WOW! I have a friend who is going to loan me his kayak, (yes, I can fit into a Kayak) and I am going to do some solo camping and fishing. Yahoooo!
