My name is Dot. I don't know if many of you are aware of this so I thought I would pass it on.
Eating at anytime makes the acid enzemes come into your stomach to take care of that food and to process and empty the stomach. Do to habit scheduling through your life you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner fairly close in times every day the acid is programmed to some in during those times. Because executives have meetings etc. that they don't eat on time there is a particular type of ulcer they get because the acid comes in whether the food is there or not. This is a fact. If you eat late at night and set up a "pattern" for your body you lose the ability to control your body's acid. It will require you down the road to eat even if you don't want to and even wake you up to go eat because otherwise the body acid will cause you discomfort and ulcers. You will have to have assistance to get this under control by a professional if you don't want the ulcer. Check this out with your own doctor next time you go in for a visit for something else. Hope this info keeps you healthy and happy!

@Crazybooy66 welcome to MFP forums. The below article talks about another timing concern as to when to eat/not eat.

When the USDA, registered dietitians like Rebecca Scritchfield or Columbia University tell me it doesn't matter if I eat during the day or at night, I will take their word over random sources.
If I could find the research around the University of California's claim of memory issues, I would be interested in reading that, but so far I have found nothing but fear-mongering when it comes to "when" or "how often" you should eat.0
