So my heart rate monitor is usually really great and always spot on with my heart rate and does a pretty good job with my calories burned. But today I was doing 30 day shred, and I used my hrm and it said at the end 66 and then next to that kcal and below kcal it said 30 I know I didnt only burn 66 calories, I worked my *kitten* off and I know I burned more than that. What does the kcal thing mean though? I havent seen that before. If anyone has a clue please let me know!

Every so often I have an issue like that. I usually just stop and start it. If it persists, replace the battery or the band.

I have had this happen before. Sometimes they lock up and get stuck on a random heart rate and dont move off of it. I have used probably 30 different HRM's over my time and its has happened with maybe 3-5 of them. If you have Polar and are under the 1 or 2 year window they have a good warranty program. Usually for me it required getting a new chest strap/monitor. Are you cleaning it regularly? That is important. Also, dont ever put the strap through the washer or dryer as I have had this before. With my experience, these were never isolated incidences and once this started happening it ended up being a regular issue. Hope this helps!
