You lose weight from having a calorie deficit.
There is no magic weight loss food or drink.
Eat and drink the things you love within your calorie limit to lose weight.

Grean tea doesn't cause weight loss. It can be a good substitute for caloric beverages, though, if you like it and don't add calories to it.0

I don't know what you have heard or read, but there's nothing magic about green tea. It is high in antioxidants, and that's a good thing.
I like green tea and other teas to help me meet my hydration goals. A big tall mug of steaming tea is also a healthy alternative to a sugar - loaded or high - calorie snack and the water helps fill me up.
But it's not magic. It's just tea.0 -

I love green tea and drink it almost daily but the only thing it did for my weight loss is help replace drinks with more calories :-)0

Green tea is not a weight loss product, but I've heard many people like it as a beverage. I cannot drink caffeinated anything, so I steer clear of it, but if I could I would drink it.0 -
Not in and of itself, but it helps me from getting the late night munchies as I sip on a big 'ole cup of it instead of reaching for something calorific. Very satiating and also keeps my hands busy which is, funnily enough, equally important. Jasmine is my fave0
