My style of cooking is to use what ever is available in my kitchen, so all recipes vary...
General Chili Recipe:
Dried Beans (black, pinto, red, navy, kidney- I use a combo of these)
Salsa
Onions
Hot sauce
1. Rinse Beans and place in a pot.
2. Pour Boiling Water over the top of them and let sit for 2 hours. (they'll puff up)
3. Rinse Beans
4. Cover Beans with boiling water.
5. Add Onions and Salsa.
6. Cook on medium low, or in a crock pot until beans are soft, stirring occasionally
7. Use a potato masher to mash some of the beans, and stir.
8. Add cooked lean ground beef if you want more protein.
