Hello
I am new here and I am very scared. I recently lost 40 pounds on Weight Watchers and I have left WW as they changed everything and I was not sure if I would really learn to eat healthy doing it. Although it is probably better now with the changes.
I have been doing the Food Lovers fat loss plate system and I am on day 18, I have learned a lot and as I am near the 21 day metabolism makeover, I would sort of like to see it through. But I am not sure. I do not want to regain any of the weight I have worked so hard to lose. I really do want to eat healthy for the rest of my life.
I came here looking for a way to track my plates. What I would like to know if anyone here has done FL. if so how do you have it set up. If no here has done the Food Lovers System, can someone tell me how they like it here and how it has worked for them?

I had to google the Food Lovers plate system to figure out what you're doing, but it looks like the plate is divided into thirds, and you put protein on one third, refined carbs on a third and fruits/veggies on a third. Is that right? Either way, MFP will track macronutrients for you (Protein, Carbs, Fat) for you, and tracks micronutrients for you as well (vitamins and things). So, it does the same thing, just without the plate.
I lost more than 70 pounds using MFP, and have kept it off for nearly 2 years. Its a very 'stress-free' way to lose weight. Log your food, stay around the calorie goal that MFP gives you when you set up your account, the weight will come off. If you're worried about macro/micro nutrients, then you pay attention to them in your food log and eat foods that will help you meet your nutrient requirements. I love MFP. It's the only reason I've been able to get off and keep off the weight.
Welcome to MFP. :flowerforyou:0
