Just by keeping calorie intake under 1300 and drinking loads of water and I don't eat past 6pm.

That isn't why you lost 5lbs.

When you start to eat at a deficit you can lose a large amount (As you have) due to water weight and excess food waste weight.
It will start to slow down so prepare yourself for that. Don't get disheartened when it happens.

Drinking water has no effect on weight loss other than keeping you hydrated and can make you feel fuller, other liquids can do this if you don't like water.

Eating after 6pm has no effect, what matters is the amount of calories over a full week. If you want to keep some of your 1300 calories for a snack later on then you can and you will lose the same amount of weight.

Well done on your great start :)
