Been on MFP for the better part of three years now, lurked, figured I'd start posting.
So, hello. Mom of three kids. Was tracking with MFP after Child#2 when I got pregnant with Child#3. Had Child #3, and remained within 5lbs of my post-delivery weight for ten months. It did not matter what I ate or didn't eat, how much I exercised or didn't - neither the scale nor the tape measure moved one iota until I stopped breastfeeding the little one.
I am currently unable to work out thanks to a foot injury. Swimming, even, is not an option - the basic pull of the water on that foot is enough to aggravate it. I'm scheduled for surgery at the end of the month, and am counting the days.
Prior to the foot going to hell, I was doing P90x3. Say what you will about BeachBody (I am not a so-called coach, FWIW, and I think the hype over those silly shakes is ridiculous at best), but I do like their exercise programs (the foot problem is completely unrelated to P90x3).
So here I am, with approximately 20lbs left to hit goal weight, again (I lost 90lbs after Child#2; if you count from my highest weight after Child#1, at one point I was down 100lbs). Annoyed that I am limited physically for the foreseeable future, but such is. For the time being, I get to focus on nutrition.
