Age is just a number

Who would think that at 65 I would still be trying to diet?! I think I have spent the past 40 plus years doing some diet program, only to keep giving up. But, I haven't tried MyFitnessPal and am hoping at this ripe young (ha) age, I have finally found something that really will work for me. I am looking forward to meeting others who are interested in mutual encouragement and friendship. So add me as a friend and hopefully I will figure out this site to respond and acknowledge. This active Atlanta (metro) woman can't change the number on my birth certificate, but I am hoping that after all these years, I can FINALLY change the number on the scale! Happy New Year everyone. Here's to your new, best self!

I've had clients start at 70 and higher, so yes it's just a number. The great thing is that at that age, one is usually retired and doesn't have to worry too much about the stress from work or commuting.

Welcome. You can lose weight at any age by simply eating less than you burn in a day. There are a lot of helpful posts about this in the weight loss section on here.0
