cauliflower..tastes like mashed potatoes

Cook cauliflower, drain, mox with beaters adding low fat milk and a little low fat butter till creamy....can add a low fat cheese if desired

    No it doesn't. Still good, but it doesn't taste at all like mashed potatoes. It tastes like cauliflower.

    I like cream cheese or Laughing Cow in mine.

    Don't get me wrong, I love cauliflower, in almost every way it can be made, cooked, or used. But it's not mashed potatoes. Not by a long stretch. The closest I've come to mimicking the taste without using potatoes is to use rutabaga. But they are a little sweeter and have an actual flavor, even if it is very mild. But they aren't potatoes either. But, with that said, creativity is key in making lifestyle changes as they relate to food so keep up the good work!!
