Move ahead in 2016 by reviewing 2015

Since I have noticed that several people are having trouble getting started with their New Year’s Health and Fitness program I thought I would offer these suggestions. I just held a meeting with my clients and mentioned before they try to set goals for 2016 it is a good idea to review what prevented you from reaching your goals in 2015. IE: Did not have the proper support in place or worse yet people who may be derailing your chance for success, didn’t prepare grocery lists regularly, did not always prepare my daily meal plans, did not setup a personal calendar with my workout dates/times scheduled, did not setup what my workouts would be during the week to ensure I can reach my goals, did not log consistently on MFP, allowed others to control my own destiny, etc. Once a person sets up a solid foundation for eliminating issues which have sabotaged their success, then you can review your goals and how you will specifically get there. IE: M/W/F Strength training 30 – 60 minutes. Tues/Thur/Sat Cardio/Yoga/Pilates/Swimming 30 – 60 minutes. Sunday rest.
This seemed to help my clients and some of my MFP friends on here that have commented favorably.
