First Week

Firsts are nearly always hard. Remember your first race, speech, day-at-new-job, boyfriend, move, etc....a mix of excitement and fear. Did you know that both those feelings come from the same part of the brain? So while losing weight can be an exciting venture, the fear of failure may be there as well. Working the myfitnesspal is looking like the key to success for me, and hopefully for others.

Ease of use is my first 'like'; charting helps me to stay on task, and to be realistic in my choices for food. A calorie is a calorie; my intake reflects that. Also, the extras are fun & challenging: exercise goals, community board, blogs, etc. Very helpful!
