Good afternoon! Been using the app for a few months, never checked out the community. I have decided I need to get very serious about my fitness goals this year and get back to being the athlete I was. I'm a 55 (OMG...how did THAT happen???) yo professional woman with a demanding career that I enjoy, but have not made time for exercise which has resulted in weight gain. I used to enjoy my morning runs and race occasionally. I would like to start racing again, for my own goals. (My sister and I used to joke that eventually as we got older we'd win our age categories, because there wouldn't be as many runners...LOL). I also enjoy skiing ( downhill and cross country, skating and swimming. Let me also say that arthritis from some injuries sustained over the years has slowed me a little...but I've decided not to listen to all the people who tell me I should act my age!!! So my goal is to get back to a reasonable weight, and to start running races again and running on a regular basis...
