Getting back to my health & fitness 2016. Walking seems like the best choice for me. Since I am also doing a reading challenge I chose this & am hoping it sounds like a fun walk to fitness program for some of you! I like that we can tailor it to our own needs so it can work for a lot of people. The original is scaled for 458 miles in about a month. I personally can't do that but maybe some of you can. If you do it in a year it only amounts to 1.25 mile average for every day-I can do it in a bit less than that. It incorporates easily into other popular walking challenges-I chose a piece of the journey-there is a full journey to Mordor & back again! "One does not simply walk into Mordor..." unless you're a special hobbit of course-but even he had a company of friends! So with walking stick in hand I say, 'Slow down Hobbit" Here's the link - I'm starting tomorrow Jan 4th!
