I've made my mind up. It's way past time for me to get healthy.
I've got 95 lbs. to lose but today is day 2 on MFP for me.
1 day at a time right?
I really need the online support to stay on track.
Who's with me? We can do this!
I'm all in!

Exactly! 1 day at a time! I've got 100 pounds to lose and today is day 3 for me...I have to admit I'm starving all the time but I guess that's to be expected going from probably 3,000+ calories to 1,500. I just sent you a friend request - I'm looking for all the support I can get this year! Although, I'm trying something new this year and doing 12 diets in 12 months and MFP is my January plan. But, I'm hoping I make friends on here who may want to follow me on the year long journey as well!

One day, one pound, one step at a time was my motto when I started here. Check out this forum here http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/3322-100-pounds-with-no-surgery lots of great folks with the same struggles.

Changing my mindset from "dieting" to this being a lifestyle change was a biggie as I'd "dieted" before and gained it all back & then some. This time, I did not cut out anything, just learned how to work what I wanted to have into the days plan without going over my calories. Get a good food scale, for me that and logging every bite made a huge difference.

Just stick it out, remember you didn't gain it over night so it will take time to lose it.
