Mudd, Sweat and Tears? (Obstacle course)

Hey guys!

So I set my end goal of for my current weight loss journey to compete in and complete mudd sweat and tears! It's an obstacle course with rope climbing, monkey bars, lifting, trudging through mud and running on different terrains.

My question is how the heck do I train for it!? I'm currently focusing on weight loss (running on the treadmill) but want to incorporate some kind of other training to get my body ready for this course? My only concern is that I'm 8 months post partum and still have to be very careful about some exercises. :/
