What do you mean by "blind weigh-in"? You won't step on a scale again until April 14th.

I rather like that idea. IDK if I could do it though. I have a compulsion to step on every scale I get near.

Didn't drink enough water today though. Not been tempted by the scales...but it is only day 2 lol

Gotta admit...keeping very busy seems to work a treat...although I am knackered!

Why are you doing a blind weigh-in? I seems folly.

Can't be stressed with the ups and downs of the need to weigh so I've banned myself

But what happens in 4 months and you have lost little or no weight. You will have to figure out where you went wrong and you've already spent 4 months trying. Nows the time to fix any errors you have in logging and after you are comfortable that you are on the right track you will not need to weigh yourself but every few months or so. My 2 cents

I agree--this seems misguided. Better investigate why the scale is so stressful. How about scale visit ONLY every Monday morning right after morning P wearing your birthday suit?

I agree with the posts. I hated, and to some extent, still hate weighing myself, but as others have said how do you know if what you are doing is progressing towards your goal if you do not weigh yourself? I imagine you could judge by how your clothes fit, if you have a lot of weight to lose. Even that will take some time to see a big enough difference. We all do what works for us at a particular time, but I am learning that the number on the scale is a number on a scale. It does not define who I am, but it does guide me in my daily eating so that I know whether I am on the right track or not.

I'm attempting to go the month of January and not step on the scale so as to not be discouraged if the number isn't what I "want" to see :-) It's hard... but I'm excited to see what months end will bring!
