Hello,

So it's new years, and with that means getting started. My fiance and I want to have pizza from Little Caesar's, however, when lookinga t the MFP app I'm unsure of how to log this. We were going to get a hot and ready pizza and I have indeed found the pizza in the list, however, I'm unsure if one serving is one pizza (highly unlikely I'm sure), or if the serving listing there is one piece (much more likely and less making me want a pizza).

Anyhow, thanks for the help guys.

Most pizza places will list calories by the slice. Check their website, as I'm sure they would have all nutritional information available online.

There are only about 8 billion user supplied entries on the MFP website for a Little Caesar's Hot N' Ready pizza. Most of them have similar calories listed, some have errors in their macros. My husband and I regularly split one, though, so I can tell you that half a (pepperoni) pizza is 1120 calories (as verified on the Little Caesar's website). A single slice is 280 calories.

Best of luck in sifting the better entries in the database - that's probably the trickiest part of using MFP to count calories.

Yep. Either go to the website of the restaurant, look in MFP and find the most common number (or the one with the green checkmark by it) or - if the restaurant isn't even in MFP and they have no menu - use your best guess. Other than avoiding eating there (which some would recommend) there isn't much else you can do.
