How do you get your steps on your Garmin to show up on MyFitnessPal? I did the sync thing, but I'm seeing nothing new!0

I got my Garmin to sync with MFP but I walked 5000 steps and it showed on MFP I only burned 23 calories. What's with that?

Becky if you go to your settings for MyFitnessPal and click on apps you can connect the Garmin app with this one

This is the calorie adjustment. Depending on your MFP settings (lightly active etc), it already has an average exercise level built in.
In your example, the 23 calories means you burnt that much extra than how much is built in to the MFP average calculation. Sometimes, it can come in as a negative if you have done many steps!0 -
