So, I took a bit longer break from here than I had originally meant to. Originally, I had only meant to take off a month or two while I purchased a house, moved, and stabilized a bit. That short break turned into seven months. So, it's a new year and I'm back. I am currently about 10 pounds heavier now than when I went on hiatus. I found myself falling back into bad habits, eating too much junk food, eating in the car, eating too much in general and not getting enough exercise, or really any exercise. I justified it as work stress and adjusting to new routine. I can justify almost anything if I think about it hard enough. The reality is that I know what I need to do to lose weight. Now I need to do it.

Best of luck to you. Sounds like you already know what you need to do and you just fell off the wagon and hobbled a bit too far. Glad you are back.0

Yeah, my philosophy for weight loss has been eat less and move more. I know what I need to do, but it was easier and more comforting to not do it for a while.0
