My NSV - promises promises

I've been on my journey for a couple of months, and my ticker tells the story. However, I have a few NSVs to share with you.

1. My PJs. They used to be tight, now they aren't. It's weird. I haven't lost a lot of inches on the waist/hips/bust, but there is a significant difference in how my clothes fit me. It's weird.

2. My arms. I have been doing aquafit and swimming with a vengeance, and just started lifting last week. What was once a vision of chubbiness, is now looking a bit curvier, a bit more toned, a little more pumped. The bones at my shoulders are starting to feel a little less covered in fat.

3. And in the ultimate victory, my wedding band is now unwearable. This is a huge victory for my husband because we are (were?) the same size ring, but now I can't wear mine or it falls off. But there's a catch with this. When we got married, I had a white gold band which I soon found out I was allergic to. I had to exchange it for a gold band. I never really liked gold, but we couldn't afford anything else at the time. For our tenth anniversary, my husband bought me my current Tiffany platinum band when we were vacationing in Hawaii. I LOVE it. It's beautiful. But now I can't wear it for fear of losing it (it's not cheap or easily replaceable). Anyway, he wants a platinum band, so he made me a deal. He'll take my current ring (which I can claim back at any time), I wear my old gold band (which has great sentimental value) and when I reach my goal, he will buy me a platinum band with a diamond (which we could never afford before this). I took the deal. I'm now wearing my old gold band, which is a teensy bit too small after 15 years. But who cares? I'm gonna rock this challenge!
