PB2 as a mix-in

I am making some overnight oats tomorrow and am thinking of throwing in a tbs of Pb2. I tried the stuff plain and it is disgusting. Think it would be masked enough in the oats or would it still have that weird taste?

I eat this sometimes with PB2. I don't think it is to bad. Big difference in the number of calories.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal with cocoa powder (My absolute favorite since it taste just like chocolate cake, but it's healthy and low in calories!!) (Some times peanut butter isn't included):
30 grams of Oatmeal: 112.5 cal
5 grams of Chocolate Powder: 19.5 cal
4 grams of brown sugar: 15.8 cal
Half Milk 100 grams: 48 cal
Skippy Crunchy Peanut Butter 16 grams: 95 cal
    Total: 290.8 cal

    I like stirring PB2 into cooked oatmeal....yummy.

Vanilla yogurt and PB2 ...with a sprinkle of Grapenuts cereal

PB2 pancakes.....stir PB2 into pancake batter. Maple & peanut butter is a good combo

Never tried - mix dry PB2 into jelly for a low cal PB&J sandwich

Some people like peanut butter powder. Some hate it. I hated it. I suggest you take a bit of cooked oatmeal in the morning and mix it in on the side. My husband is american and loves the stuff since he grew up eating peanut butter sandwiches.

I mix Peanut Butter and Cos flax seed powdered peanut butter with Greek yogurt and some cereal. It's definitely worth giving a shot.

I guess I will just mix a little in tomorrow and see how I like it so I don't ruin the whole lot of it. Thanks!

I dont know what weird taste you're talking about.

It literally tastes like peanut butter but without all the yummy silkiness of peanut butter. It may have a strong roasted or somewhat bitter flavor, but so does PB, we normally just don't notice it.

I never use PB2 as a peanut butter substitute but i think it really shines as a mix in with shakes, oats, etc.

But everyone's taste is different, better to try on a small batch first, IMO. :)

I'm not sure what weird taste you mean, but I'm going to say yes, it will get rid of it because I've only ever used it as a mix in and it never tastes weird. I have not used it in oats, because I don't like oats. But it's really good in pancakes, milkshakes and cookies.

I mix it in with smoothies all the time and love it. Never tried it in anything else though

I don't care for it plain but love it in smoothies, oatmeal, or peanut sauces.

I mix it in with overnight oatmeal or add it to smoothies to get that peanut butter taste without 200+ calories. I don't think it's horrible for sandwiches, but it's a bit too watery for me for a PB&J.

I like it in yogurt and oatmeal too so it would probably be fine in overnight oats.
