I have around 4 stone to lose. I carry most of my weight on my belly so even when I am a healthy weight I still have a flabby belly. Does anyone have any exercises I can start now that will reduce my belly fat so when I get to my goal I am not left with a wobbly belly?

Sorry, but you cannot spot reduce. You’ll just need to lose more fat to get to that belly fat. Fat loss comes from what and how much you eat. Other things you can do to help your overall look would be to build some muscle particularly on the back, butt and legs; strengthen your core muscles (front squats, hollow holds); and work on your posture.

Search for "So you want a nice stomach" by usmcmp. It is a very thorough and informative thread on this topic. I found it very helpful.

It's a great start and part of the pinned "must read" topics. Here's the link: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1161603/so-you-want-a-nice-stomach

Thank you. Will have a look at the thread but guess I will have to lose more weight to get rid of the belly fat. One step at a time though.
