What to eat ideas

Hi All, I am new to clean eating and apparently I am short on calories with no sugar. What can I eat that doesn't have any sugar in it? According to my food log everything is good and sugar is sitting at 0 available, yet I am almost 400 calories short because of exercising. No matter what fruit or vegetable I add it appears to have sugar Grams. I don't want to increase my meat since I reserve that for my dinners usually 4 oz. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Thank you

Do you have a medical reason to avoid sugar?0

Unless you have a medical issue that necessitates it, there is no need to limit your sugar intake.0

A handful of nuts and a hardboiled egg? Some cheese?0

I am just following the guide on here not to mention if I am trying to lose weight I am not going to eat more than recommended. Besides I have an addiction to carbs and sweets so I have to watch it or I will lose control and pig out on sweets...lol0

Many of us here have found that the recommendation for sugar is set far too low. Given that it counts the sugars in fruits and vegetables, it's difficult to eat these in abundance AND meet the goal MFP recommends. So we disregard it. I exceeded the goal for sugar every single day while I was losing weight. Will eating fruits and vegetables make you lose control? If not, there's no reason to limit them to prevent binges.0 -
Thank you Janejellyroll that is what I wanted to hear:) I love fruits and vegetables but was freaking out when my sugar count kept going up so I was having a hard time figuring out what to eat to give me the calories without so much sugar0
