I need to change my eating habits

I'm on day 3 of MFP & hopefully this app will help me lose 70 pounds. I started going to the gym in October 2014 about 10 hours a week. I didn't lose any weight. I think this will help change my eating habits. I like how you can log your exercise, food, and water.

I changed my schedule in August and started going to the gym before work, but that didn't help, so it must be how I'm eating. This week I started increasing cardio from 40 minutes to 60 minutes and have been lifting weights.

I eat one to two salads a day and that helps! My salads consist of 3 cups veggies, 50 calorie dressing and 3/4 cup meat!! Good luck

Remember, losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. You have to watch your calories closely. Get a digital food scale and weigh and measure everything. Best.

Weight loss is 80% what you eat. Then their is a debate if it is 20% exercise or 10% exercise, 10% sleep. sometimes starting with small changes and working into big ones help! Little by little a little becomes a lot

Also, careful logging your exercise, MFP will bump up your calories accordingly

I suggest for the first two weeks just get used to weighing and logging your food. MFP will track your calories and your macro breakdowns for you and with two weeks' worth of data you should get an idea where you might want to make changes.

    Good luck!

I write down what I eat. I cut back on my calories. In two weeks I lost 18 lbs. make sure you drink plenty of water
