I did good when I tried this. was over the goal in five weeks. Dislocated knee brought it to a halt for eight months.

    Me, too. Then my weakness rolled around...Eberhard's Egg Nog in my coffee (+ the Holidays). That was October 1st. Now 13 pounds heavier, I got back on the treadmill this afternoon and burned off an easy 450 cal. The goal for me now is to work up to 800-1000 cal. burn 3-4 times a week and try and cut down on my portion size and eat healthier (read...fewer carbs and fat). I have a new secret weapon...I've installed Direct TV out in the garage where my treadmill is. If I can keep my mind occupied, exercise is not so bad. Before I had only a DVD player and after 5 times thru of Deadwood, Weeds, and LotR....even that got boring.
