Low Net Calories - Question

Hello all :-)
I have been convinced not to go under 1200 calories a day. I am concerned about losing muscle. If I ate 1200 calories a day and exercised 300 or so for a net calorie intake of 900 will that out me at risk of muscle loss?
What important calories eaten or net calories?

Yes, it does. Your NET is what matters.0

You'll lose weight at 1200. I've lost 3# a month for 6 months. I'm not in a rush and if I didn't have some slip ups it could have been a little more.
Edit: I eat my exercise calories so I don't go below 1200. When I have gone below I get tired and hungry.0 -
Yep. You'll already be losing some at 1200 so...yep.0
