That would make you a size 10-12 (UK) wouldn't it - I do not consider that big at all!!0

Hey, your hips are the same size as mine, check out my profile pic you think mine look too big? Granted I'm 5"4 but let's be honest those 2 inches don't look much different we're both short! Love your curves, work with them not against them0 -

If your hips have naturally formed that way, they can't be too big for your body. Maybe if you were morbidly obese you could have hips that are way too big for your body.0

Congratulations on your weight loss! It sounds like now you need to find and build your self esteem.0 -
Personally i was always told that big hips ran in the family, that it was our bones. I m 5ft0 and at 140lbs i measured 42 ins. (uk 12/ 14) I was hoping to get to 36 ins (uk 8). At 95lbs i have 34 ins hips (uk 6) which i never believed was possible. What im saying is that 38 ins is not too big BUT don't be put off if you want to lose more weight (healthily of course).0

I think hip size has a lot to do with genetics and bone structure and unless you have a lot of body fat in that area there isn't too much you can do to change them. The main thing is to try and become comfortable with what you have provided you are healthy and happy with the rest of your body. I have seen pictures of people trying to achieve the darn near impossible (such as the fabled thigh gap) by dieting down to extreme levels and that is something to avoid at all costs. BTW I don't think that size sounds too big at all0

thanks^^ the thing is my hip bones are prominent even if i'm at a healthy weight.. I do believe my bone structure is a contributing factor0 -
