Hi All - going to a Jewish deli tonight for dinner with the family. Any thoughts on what the healthiest options might be? Thanks for your input! Beth

    They are not all the same like a pizza place would be.
    Often they have lovely salad options.
    Maybe call ahead.

    see if they have a menu online. mostly sandwiches and soups (matzo ball soup is my FAVORITE, made the way i like)

    There's also usually nice soups. Check out a menu for the place online if one is available. If I had no idea whatsoever what they had available, I'd probably plan on a bagel with lox and cream cheese, light application of cream cheese and ditch one of the bagel halves.

    But if I had the ability to plan my day I'd get matzoh ball chicken soup and half a pastrami sandwich. Yum.
