    I need to get into this - Any type of certain ropes for a beginner?
    If anybody does Jump Rope workouts what are they? Links? Custom?
    This seems to really help with cardio and fat burn unless I'm wrong.

    A basic pvc skipping rope that I got from Walmart with comfortable grip & light weight handle is what I use but it depends on your goals. I skip for improved coordination & it's a low impact cardio workout for me. I play with different jumps such as high knees, lateral jumps (skaters), skiers, Ali shuffle, forward & backward skipping, 1 leg skips. I also change out my work to rest ratio ie. 30sec work:30 sec rest, to 3mins:1 min., etc.
