Any Fit Fatties out there? :P

Hello All,
Just wondering if there is anyone out there in the same boat as me? I started my weight loss journey using at home workouts on Fitness Blender and running outside. Now that the weather has took a turn for the worse, I joined the gym around 2 months ago.
I am bigger than most of the people in the classes I attend - I'm around 6 foot and weigh 240lbs. However, it makes me rather when I get the 'what is she doing here?' looks from people. Not saying that I'm better than anyone there and obviously they will be fitter than me - but I can definitely hold my own in a class in terms of fitness (most of the time haha) (i.e. I don't lag behind in sprints in spin, my rep timing is the same in pump and I can get a decent amount of reps in in circuits).
Why do people automatically assume that because you're not the smallest that you'll be some wheezing, blundering mess! Anyway, rant over. Just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there that was bigger and has this trouble?

Has anybody actually voiced this kind of "what is she doing in here?" thing or are you assuming that's what their looks mean? I suggest not spending any time thinking or worrying about what other people's facial expressions mean or don't mean if they aren't saying anything to you. They may just be thinking "wow, she is tall," for all you know.0
