Are you eating half your exercise calories back?

How much weight do you have to lose? Changing it to 1 or 1.5 pounds a week will give you more calories to eat.

Regarding the birth month/day issue, I have reported the same issue with MFP Help (opened Case ID 754409 on 04 Oct 2015) with no resolution yet - MFP keeps changing the month/day but not the year without me taking any positive action to do so. I reopened my Case and linked this thread as proof that this is happening with at least one other user. Previously, the customer support agent said that it has not been reported by any other user.

@chulipa If you get a chance, could you please open a new Case with Customer Support on the MFP Help pages and let them know that you are experiencing the same issue?

Honestly, almost everything on this site is so messed up that nothing makes sense any more. And, opening a case with customer support is worthless. My advice - find another site! I only stay here due to the friendships I've developed over the past couple of years - and I'm even questioning if that is a strong enough reason to put up with the crappy site.

It's not just you two http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10194580/happy-birthday-to-meeeeeeee-its-not-my-birthday

I haven't raised a ticket, and I don't intend to either. I raised it on the Feedback board, and if they don't take it as feedback there's not a lot I can add.

That is very interesting about the birthday. I just changed some of my goals and my birthday stayed the same.

I suspect part of the change in calorie allowance was because you've lost weight. At 287 your BMR, daily burn from basic activities was higher than now at 223. Congrats on your progress so far by the way!

You can change your rate of loss to 1.5 pounds per week which will increase your calorie allowance slightly. Or start eating back some of your exercise calories. End result: you should be able to eat a little more per day, and continue to lose weight.
