Hi. I am almost 64 and need to lose quite a bit of weight. Yesterday my doctor told me that I need to lose 5 pounds, but I need to lose 60 - 80 pounds. I am very inactive after 5+ years of knee and leg problems. I had total knee replacements in 2014 but the surgery hasn't been totally successful. I need to lose the weight in order to deal with constant knee pain and swelling, inactivity, and high blood pressure. I go back to the doctor in 6 months and really want to lose 24-30 pounds by that time and become more active. I need diet and exercise partners, if anyone would be interested in joining me on this site. Thank you.

Hi. I'm in the 3rd quarter of my life (between 50-75) and want to get in best physical shape possible so I can enjoy the 4th quarter in the best of health. Hope we can bounce questions off each other and share exercise tips for our older bones.0
